First thing, if you're not on an Ametican flight and don't have time or energy for a long walk, this isn't the place for you.
The place feels a little upscale with white tablecloths and a stone facade, but it is still in an airport, so you can feel like you're eating well while watching the world walk by.
First came the warm focaccia. It had a decent flavor and nice, slightly chewy texture. A little more rosemary flavor and something a little more than plain olive oil would go a long way in bringing this up to par.
The salad was a decent size for a side salad, and although I prefer blue cheese dressing, which is not available, the Mediterranean vinaigrette had a good flavor and the lettuce was dressed just right, not drenched.
The chicken scallopini main was the highlight of the meal, tastewise anyway. Chicken was tender, moist a lightly breaded. Light sauce with mushrooms, capers and prosciutto all in the right balance.
If you have one of these close to home, enjoy it there, but if you want something slightly different than a quick bite in an airport bar, it is probably worth the hike  from the United section of the airport.

Working at any venue in the airport has to have its challenges. You have people rushing, stressed and irritated. My situation was no different. I had been laid over at the airport for several hours. Was finally given a hotel and food voucher. The hotel was so far away (and it was raining) that I literally got four hours sleep before I had to be up and on the way to the airport again. If you didn't use your voucher you lose it...(and you can't use it for alcohol).

Our waitress appeared to be stressed and was taking her sweet time to get to us. So, when she finally took our order, I told her that we had vouchers and that we needed to order right away to catch the flight. When I told her that she seemed to lighten up a little. Like maybe being straight forward helped her...I don't know, what I do know is, that the food came out quickly and was so-so. I think I liked the bacon more than anything else. I believe I ordered a scrambled eggs platter-type dish. Eggs were a little runny. Not uneatable runny...that may have something to do with me saying we were in a hurry. I don't know.

What I do know is that you should not take a job as a waitress in an airport if you don't know how to be personable and friendly. The food was way overpriced for what you get. I would have rather eaten at Denny's - Any Denny's - I was not impressed.

First off, this restaurant is filthy. Crumbs and food all over the slippery, greasy floor. The busser wiped more crumbs onto the floor from the bench they sat me in and even after she wiped it there were still crumbs on it!

I tried to order a caprese but they were out of buffalo mozzarella as well as all chicken items. I ordered the calamari instead and it was good. The salmon I had was cooked perfectly medium rare and tasted great. The orzo that came as a side was amazing.

The server was efficient - that's really the beat way to describe her. No attempt to make any connection - just turn and burn baby! I guess it's an airport; what did I expect? No water refill. Didn't clear my appetizer plate even after bringing the check.

Bad service is such a drag...

Grabbed lunch here and was very impressed.  This is not your typical generic airport food spot, it truly is a restaurant.

I grabbed their goat cheese and mushroom pizza and it was incredible!  The crust and toppings were absolutely delicious.  The service was fantastic with attentive servers, prompt and efficient service, and extremely polite staff even while busy.

There is plenty of seating available at this location and the restaurant is a good size.  They have a terrific menu and a ton of variety; something for everyone.

I felt the prices were extremely reasonable for O'Hare and a high-end airport restaurant in general.

Certainly a spot I'd go back to!

I ordered the Chicken Scaloppine - when this arrived I thought it was a huge portion size, but I made a really good dent!  (so, either deceptively large looking, but a normal portion, or I was REALLY hungry!).  Very tasty!

My server Leopoldo was fantastic - he was prompt and efficient, but without making me feel rushed.  While he was covering a lot of tables, he also checked in frequently to make sure my water was filled!
